CoDiME

Weeral een paar dagen gepasseerd, dus weeral eens tijd om nog wat dagverslagjes op de blog te zetten, maar deze keer een beetje korter...

Friday 18th April
Today in the morning, we had to visit our own schools, so we couldn't join the session about music therapy from Spain, but I've heard from the other students that it was a nice thing to do.
In the afternoon we had to go to Mozaïek, a primary school. We went there with 2 students from the Netherlands and the three students from Turkey. In the beginning the children were very shy, but after a while they got really enthousiastic. The students from the Netherlands and Turkey have present their country to the children, and after the break we've played a game with the children. We played what we call in Belgium 'Zakdoekje leggen', and we song the Turkisch song. The first part of the song was easy, but we couldn't manage to remember and to sing the rest of the song.
The children are really enthousiastic to go to the families! So we are curious to go there on Monday...

Thursdag 17th April
Today the students came to our campus, so we showed them the 'mediatheek', where they could go on the computer to check there mail or to leave a message for home.
At noon we ate a typical Belgium lunch at the campus and after the lunch we went with some students to the shopping center. Some students bought something, other people just went there to see the shopping center. Afterwards we went back to the campus to have a session from Marianne about 'het muzische'. We had to write a note for someone of the group, we had to tell a story in our own language to the other students... I think it was very nice.
In the evening we had dinner and animation hosted by Italy. They made risotto for us, and also a pasta with pesto, and it was the birthday of Eva, so she went to the bakery to get us some cakes.
So, the first evening in Heidepark was really nice.
